ATV Camping - Photo Stories of Trips and Rides
Digital Photo Stories of the many pleasures and hardships experienced on ATV rides and camping trips
- First Night Out
- Started out just on sunset and traveled about five kilometers to my first camp spot, over rocky terrain.
- Wild Animals in the Night
- Some unknown wild animal had been within a meter of my head, while I was asleep.
- Pancakes in the Camp Oven
- With the cast iron skillet dirty from the dust and sand of desert travel, the camp oven turned out to be an excellent cooking alternative.
- Camp Shower in the Arid Country
- After several days out camping it would be nice to have a shower and change out of my sweaty and smoky smelling clothes.
- John McDouall Stuart at Andamooka Waterhole
- John McDouall Stuart was the first white man to see the centre of Australia. In fact, he crossed the continent from Adelade in the south to near Darwin in the north. I reckon I camped in his exact camping spot at Andamooka Waterhole.
